Herb-Inspired Cuisine at basil


Throughout July, basil’s Chef Kesinee Wanta will present a special menu inspired by sweet basil or horapa and hot basil or krapow.

Diners can enjoy ten distinctive dishes featuring this essential Thai ingredient, including the appetizer of Laab ped krapow krob spicy crispy duck with roasted rice powder, mint and scallion. The menu also includesTom yam talay poh tak Thai seafood in a spicy broth flavored with hot basil and lemongrass, Phad nok grajok tes bai horapa stir- fried ostrich with hot basil, a luscious dessert of Med meang lak paeguay nom sod basil seed with gingko nuts in milk syrup, and more.

Aspiring chefs who want to learn Chef Kesinee’s basil recipes can take part in a special cooking class with Chef Kesinee.
