Exotic Lemongrass Cuisine at basil


Throughout November and December at basil, Chef Kesinee invites lovers of authentic Thai cuisine to savor her exotic lemongrass dishes.
Known in Thai as ta-krai, lemongrass imparts the delightful citrus flavor and fragrance that has come to define Thai cuisine.

The menu of lemongrass dishes includes moo tod ta-krai nga khao, deep fried marinated pork loin with crispy lemongrass, enticing goong pad nam prik pao ta-krai onn, stir fried tiger prawns with roasted curry paste and fresh spring lemongrass, and woon ta-krai nom sod, a tasty lemongrass-infused panna cotta.
At basil, diners can also enjoy a selection of GranMonte Thai wines, each carefully chosen by Thai wine consultant and sommelier Khun Anuchit Saeng-on to complement these lemongrass dishes.

basil is open for lunch Monday - Friday from 12.00 – 14.30 hrs., and for dinner from 18.00 - 22.30 hours Monday - Sunday. Prices start from Baht 350++ per dish.
