Throughout December, the Don Gomes Trio performs from Monday to Friday from 18.15 onwards, and during the Sunday Jazzy Brunch from 12:00 - 14:45 hours. Don Gomes is renowned among Asian jazz enthusiasts as one of Asia’s foremost jazz pianists and vocalists. For over two decades he has travelled extensively, performing in Holland, UK and Germany. He is not only an elegant and evocative pianist, Don’s vocal talents are also outstanding when embracing a ballad at the piano.
Every Thursday to Sunday, enjoy a power-packed performance of spontaneous improvisation and thrilling musicianship from the sensational Randy Cannon Group. Described as “a pianist of formidable gifts, and consistently galvanizing rhythmic sensitivity” by jazz critic Leonard Feather of the Los Angeles Times, Randy Cannon’s performances are nothing short of breathtaking. The masterful pianist’s mesmerizing playing is complemented by Erik Hargrove on drums, a talented American musician who toured the world with the late great James Brown, and by Thailand’s leading bass player, Therdsak Wongvichien. Affectionately known as “New York’s Jazz Diva”, Pucci Amanda Jhonestakes to the stage of The Living Room for much anticipated performances from December 6, 2012 – January 27, 2013. Pucci Amanda Jhones has a well-deserved reputation among the jazz community for her original voice. Highlights during her extraordinary musical career have included opening for the legendary trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie and Stanley Turrentine. During her residency she will perform with the Randy Cannon Group.
