From September 1 – 30 at basil, Chef Kesinee Wanta invites lovers of northeastern Thai cuisine to experience her menu of exquisite dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of Isan. The selection includes somtam pla kai, a deliciously spicy papaya salad with crispy shishamo fish, the flavorful nahm tok moo, spicy grilled pork salad, gaeng aom, a tasty Isan curry of assorted herbs and vegetables, and traditional desserts such asteang Thai nahm krati gab woon med mangrak, a refreshing dish of Thai melon snow ice with basil seed jelly.

basil is open daily for lunch Monday to Friday from 12.00 – 14.30 hours, and for dinner from 18.30 - 22.30 hours, Monday – Sunday.
